This is a Two-day conference, in-person and livestreamed, dedicated to finding solutions, and taking bold action to improve healthcare experiences and outcomes in every community. This year, the conference will take place at the Marriott Downtown in New York City on Wednesday, June 21 and Thursday, June 22 from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm. This is the third year of our conference that brings together patients, patient advocates, medical professionals, and corporate and government representatives.
Day One will feature The Research and Patient Navigation Symposium where experts present key findings from recent SHARE studies: TNBC and Black Women: Exploring Perspectives, Needs and Experiences, and An Unheard Majority: How Older Women Experience Breast Cancer Diagnosis. The afternoon will move the work of the 2023 Patient Navigation Workstream forward into action.
Day Two of Getting Our Fair SHARE, is where we explore key topics and solutions through expert speakers from each community (Black, Latina, AAPI, White and other identities). Participants will share perspectives and wrestle with next steps.
